Charity ice skating for the renovation of St. Pölten Cathedral

On Thursday, 15.01.2026, in the evening at the Sparkasse ice rink on Domplatz

a charity ice skating event (and more)!

There were opportunities for ice skating, curling and even a trial ice hockey training session.

There was plenty of culinary delights on offer around the ice cream!

The event was actively supported by the „Spielefamilie“ and the volunteer members of the donation association - wine tasting, apple punch, mulled wine and ice skating were on the programme. Even our mayor Matthias Stadler was on the ice and tasted the „cathedral wine“ from the Josef Dockner winery afterwards!

All proceeds go to the renovation of St. Pölten Cathedral!
